Cat Nakos

Cathy Nakos transferred her experiences as an Executive of various corporations into her own company
in the entertainment marketplace. Her personal experiences in the entertainment industry as a singer
and actor helped her develop new and seasoned entertainers and songwriters. Her business background
gave her the insight to provide consultation, strategic planning and marketing direction to her clients, as
well as finding alternate ways to achieve success in an everchanging industry through out of the box
thinking, and identifying non-traditional resources both financial and people. She works with music
supervisors to get songs placed in films, television and video games.

Ms. Nakos had Andy Griggs, “Grow Young with You” with Coley McCabe in Where the
Heart Is soundtrack. She co-produced two television shows with Edie Hand in 2013 Holiday
Memories a Thanksgiving special and a Christmas special with Charlie Pride, Ronnie Milsap,
Andy Griggs, Jimmy Fortune, Buddy Jewell, and many others, all performing their songs and
Christmas songs. As a part of The Holland Group management team, she works with Jonathan
Jackson & Enation (Jonathan is Avery on the TV show Nashville), Sammy Kershaw (10
albums, 3 platinum and 2 gold certifications by RIAA, 25 Billboard top 40 singles including #1
hit “She Don’t Think She’s Beautiful” and 10 in the top 10), Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Bros
(33 top 40 singles, Josh Gracin’ top four finalists of American Idol (4 album releases) Billboard
#1 hit “Nothin’ to Lose,” two more top 5 hits and was certified Gold by RIAA, Noah Guthrie of
the TV Show “Glee,” ), Taylor Hicks winner of American Idol, as well as 2 Steel Girls, Ray
Scott, Morgan Myles, Tony Jackson, April Kry, etc. Independently, she manages U.K. pop
artist, Elizabeth Eckert (“Trophy”), & new Americana Artists Stereo Chickens. She has
managed and promoted number one, Grammy nominated, and national Gold album recording
artist Andy Griggs, performed in Waylon: An Intimate Portrait of an Outlaw; first Nashville
Star winner, recipient of the Crossover Artist & Entertainer of the Year Awards in 2011 and
national Gold album recording artist Buddy Jewell who performed “I’ll Be Me” in the film
Glen Campbell; national recording artists Woody Bradshaw (Primoris Records 1 album), Con
Hunley (3 albums on RCA, 1 on MCA & 1 Indy) and Hal Bynum (Warner Bros.) who wrote
“Lucille” on Soundtrack for film Convoy; coached and developed new artists and worked as a
consultant with major labels, studios and public relations firms. She works directly with
producers and directors she knows and collaborates with Music Supervisor Barry Coffing, a
music supervisor who developed a platform for getting music to other music supervisors quickly.
She also collaborating with Whizbang on licensing & syncing music for Jonathan Jackson and
Enation and continues to develop new relationships and collaborations.
Prior to managing artist, Cathy served as an Executive Vice President and consultant for the American
Diabetes Association and American Heart Association over a 13 year period. She contracted numerous
entertainers as: Tony Bennett, Bob Hope, Bobby Vinton, Kenny Rogers, John Davidson, Little Anthony &

the Imperials to name a few for large fundraising events which provided her an opportunity to be on the
other side of the entertainment industry as the buyer & producer. She raised and managed over $40
million dollars during this tenure. As an officer and Board member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society, she
produced & directed events including Honorary Roasts for actors, sports celebrities and entertainers
where she wrote the scripts for many of the roasters and roastees raising millions of dollars for the
organization over 12 years.
She did multiple television and radio commercials for Sears, various car dealerships, etc. and won a Cleo
Award for The Bullock Advertising Agency for a Salvation Army radio commercial. She made numerous
television appearances on television talk shows and performed on the Country Boy Eddy Show in
Alabama on numerous occasions. She also wrote copy for WSGN radio for several years. She also
facilitated motivational workshops and provided counseling services and training to corporations and
