Noemi Weis has spent over 20 years telling stories on the big and small screens, from
her worldwide advertising projects to her award-winning human rights films.
Born in Argentina and educated in Argentinian and Canadian Universities, Noemi
speaks six languages and is devoted to create and promote human rights and social
justice through her films.
As as a humanitarian and an advocate leader Noemí journeys where stories take her to
bring voice to the world’s most vulnerable. Her films have been sold in more than 50
countries receiving numerous awards but most important, making in a difference in

In addition to the support from UNICEF, WHO and numerous global organizations, Weis
was recently endorsed by Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, Canada’s First Lady, for her latest
film MILK. Milk looks at infant nutrition from an international perspective. Filmed in 11
countries and 35 cities, MILK unites the voices from women an experts from around the
world, having screened to-date in more than 300 communities in close to 100 countries
globally and reaching a social media engagement of 127Million people.
Noemi is a member of the Unesco, Team Canada’s trade missions and Ontario
Business Ambassador, promoting the merits of Canadian production abroad. She has
been nominated as “Woman Entrepreneur of the Year” for three years in a row, the last
one by Export Development Canada and a finalist for “Woman Entrepreneur of the
World” as the sole Canadian nominee.
